The European Personal Care business is a leading supplier to the cosmetic industry with natural and synthetic polymers as well as surfactants to the styling, hair care and skin/sun care markets, built on a commitment to innovate, applications development and first rate technical service support. An opportunity exists for a sales professional to support our activities in the CEE region, reporting to the European Sales Manager.
Candidates should have a degree in chemistry, in polymer or surfactant science or a related subject with around 3 years’ successful technical sales experience. Knowledge of Personal Care applications or related industries would be an advantage. Candidates must be able to establish credibility quickly, build sustainable relationships with both new and existing customers and network effectively throughout the cosmetic industry. The ability to identify new business opportunities and initiate / implement market development projects is also essential. Some appreciation of the regulatory framework and Intellectual Property issues would also be helpful. Fluency in a local CEE language (preferably Polish) and English is essential, as is a willingness to travel and work as part of a multicultural team.
The job holder will ideally be located in Poland / Warsaw, but for exceptional candidates location is flexible.
